Considerations when getting a body piercing jewelry
When it comes to a body piercing jewelry, it is important to consider many things. This is mainly because the aftercare can help avoid potential problems. To prevent infection we must take good care of us when a piercing. All we do know is that a piercing can be very painful if we are not careful.
Each piercer (person who does the piercing) will tell us about their technique carefully. And every piercer will tell a different method. Also depends on what area is that we have done the piercing to determine what care we should have. Either way, there is widespread that we can use care not to suffer further damage. We found a list that probably more than one is useful.
Hygiene
First of all, do not touch the body piercing jewelry with dirty hands. Our hands are full of germs that can cause an infection. So not even think about it. Clean them always hands with soap. In addition:
- Keep clothes clean, pillows, hats, blankets and anything else that may have regular contact with our piercing. Avoid rubbing.
- To clean the piercing should always use a saline solution (usually provided by the piercer) made up of water and non-ionized salt.
- You must not use the piercing alcohol, antibacterial soap, iodine drops for the care of the ears, or any other element that can actually cause irritation
- Do not move. The piercing is likely to remain hard and stiff as it heals the body. No need to touch the body piercing jewelry to see what happens.
If your body rejects it (loosening or starting to detach), do not worry. There are bodies that react like that. Go immediately to the piercer and ask how to fix it. Beware the intimate contact with others. Avoid bodily fluids of strangers for a while.
In public places (clubs, swimming pools, sports facilities), you should exercise extreme caution. Before any contact try to make sure everything is clean! The same applies to your clothes. Contact may cause irritation. If you do not want to notice redness, consider optimal care around the

zone. The practice of piercing is a ritual that dates back about 4000 or 5000 years ago. They were generally used for religious reasons, and each site where the piercing was placed had a particular meaning, depending on the culture that conduct.
